UNI ready for McDermott era

The Greg McDermott era begins at the University of Northern Iowa tomorrow night as the Panthers open the basketball season at the Texas Tech tournament. U-N-I plays San Diego State in the opening round, and McDermott says they have four seniors and two juniors that are very good.McDermott says the Panthers have a difficult challenge. He says San Diego State is much bigger than his team, and that will be tough.
