A northeast Iowa high school counselor accused of improperly touching two students could lose his job.Central School District Superintendent Darwin Winke is recommending that Stephen Regan be fired from his position as counselor at Central High School in Elkader. Regan was placed on administrative leave after being accused of touching two female students. Regan will go to trial on February 1st and February 22nd on two seperate charges of simple assault. Regan has asked for a December 5th private school board hearing on the superintendent’s recommendation that he be fired.
