A former Quasqueton man has been sentenced for his role in a cross burning incident. 28-year-old Frankie Lee Fink, now of Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to a charge of making false statements to the F-B-I. He was then sentenced by a federal judge to three months in a corrections facility, three months home confinement, and three years probation. Fink admitted he was present but not directly involved when a cross was set fire in the year of an interracial couple in Quasqueton in July of 1997. He also admitted to making up a false alibi for the man who actually set the cross on fire.
