Cyclones ready to leave for bowl game

The Iowa State Cyclones leave this week for the December 27th Independence Bowl against Alabama. It will be Iowa State’s second straight bowl game and senior safety Adam Runk says it is a great way to close out his career.Runk says he could see the program was making progress early in his career, even though the Cyclones were coming up short in a number of games they should have won.Quarterback Seneca Wallace says this is the kind of success he was hoping for when he decided to attend Iowa State.
