A central Iowa boy’s basketball coach reached a victory milestone last night. Marshalltown’s 66-53 win over Fort Dodge gave coach Jerry Nikkel his 400th victory. Nikkel started his career at Pella Christian, leading them to three state titles in the 1990s. Nikkel’s in his eighth season with the Bobcats who’re off to an 8-0 start. Nikkel is 400-162 in 27 years of coaching.
