A Polk County judge says there is no proof that a breast enlargement device called “Stimulations Seven” is either safe or effective. The device, a suction machine, sells for up to four thousand bucks. The judge has ordered it maker, New Womyn Incorporated, to stop false advertising about the product and turn over a list of those who bought it while the company operated in Iowa. New Womyn is now located in Illinois. But two years ago, when the company was based in Bettendorf, the Iowa attorney general sued its president, Dan Kaiser. The attorney general demanded a list of customers. Officials wanted to contact them to determine if the device had, indeed, given them larger breasts. But Kaiser refused. New Womyn officials promise to appeal the judge’s ruling, calling it unfair. They have not said if there is any chance the ruling will cause the companyto go bust.
