A Davenport man is sentenced to up to 60 years in prison for the shooting death of his former girlfriend’s boyfriend. 27-year-old Juan Lozano was accused of breaking down the door of the woman’sapartment last July and gunning down 29-year-old Jacinto Caldera of Moline.Caldera was hit in the leg, chest and head and died at the scene. Lozano had been charged with first-degree murder, which carries a life sentence upon conviction. But he pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder and terrorism.
