A former Waterloo man’s facing charges at a new job in another state. The former manager of Waterloo’s Greyhound Park has apparently been fired from his job as general manager of a track in Kansas City, Kansas. 50-year-old Augie Masciotra was placed on administrative leave from the Woodlands Racetrack in Kansas City in January, then fired shortly afterward. Kansas Racing and Gaming officials are investigating allegations of missing money at the track. Owners apparently became suspicious over missing funds. No charges have been filed. Massiotra was manager of the Waterloo greyhound park from 1986-96.
