The Central College softball team has returned from a trip to California with a 15-1 record. The Dutch opened the season 13-0, their best start in school history.Central coach George Wares says they’ve done some things better than they anticipated and got a variety of competition. The Dutch have a pair of standout junior pitchers back this year but injury has forced Wares to juggle the mound duties a bit.Molly Parrot had several key hits for the Dutch on the trip and did so just days after she finished the season with the Central womens’ basketball team.
