An elderly biker died in eastern Iowa Monday. A 72-year-man’s motorcycle ride ended in his death yesterday afternoon in Bettendorf. The man, whose name is being withheld pending notification of relatives, rammed the rear of a sport utility vehicle. The S-U-V was stopped as the 18-year-old woman driving it waited to make a left turn. She was not hurt. The cyclist died at the scene.
