Police have released autopsy results in the death of a Spirit Lake toddler. A Sioux Falls coroner says four-and-a-half month old Shania Laird died from asphyxia. Laird was found dead at her home Thursday afternoon, and the Spirit Lake police department and state Department of Criminal Investigation are continuing the investigation. Authorities call her death suspicious. No arrests have been made.
