A teenager’s been charged with burglary and three counts of attempted murder after an incident last week in Bedford. A couple told police they’d been gone and when they came home the woman went upstairs to find their bedroom door closed. When she turned to leave, she says 17-year-old Jarrod Majors jumped out of a closet and ran downstairs. The woman’s husband held the boy down till police arrived. The report says Majors had a rifle and machete. Charged with first-degree burglary, he was first taken to a juvenile facility in Chariton with his bond set at 35-thousand dollars. That bond was posted and he was released Friday, but after investigation continued authorities re-arrested him, charged him with three counts of attempted murder and set bail at 65-thousand. He’s jailed in Clark County and officials say other charges are pending.
