The booming northern Scott County city of Eldridge doesn’t have any adult video stores or bars that feature exotic dancers. The city council wants to keep it that way. The city council passed a 120-day moratorium on adult entertainment establishmentsin their community. That will give the city’s planning and zoning commissiontime to suggest new ordinances regulating such firms. Eldridge economic development manager Dick Kvach says the moratorium was proposed when the city attorney received a letter from another attorney, who represents a client who is considering putting an adult business inEldridge.
