The attorney for the Remsen man accused of killing his son wants the trial moved out of northwest Iowa’s Plymouth County. If the judge won’t move the trial, Donald Boss’ lawyer wants to bring in a jury from another county. The request was filed yesterday, saying there’s a substantial likelihood a fair and impartial trial would NOT take place without the change of venue or alternate county jury. Boss is accused of killing his ten-year-old adopted son about two years ago. The child’s body was found buried in the basement of the Boss home earlier this year. The judge will consider the motion Monday. Trial is slated to start July 9.
