Just one top ranked team changed in the four classes in this week’s Radio Iowa/Coaches Association High School baseball poll.Oelwein jumps over Cedar Rapids Xavier to take over the top spot in class 3A, with Xavier dropping into second. Dallas-Center Grimes remains in third, Vinton-Shellsburg is up to fourth and Knoxville is in fifth. Emmetsburg hangs onto the top spot in class 2A, Cascade is up to second from fourth, Wilton is third, Pekin fourth and Albia rounds out the top five. Mason City Newman stays number one in class 1A, the next four teams moved around. West Harrison is up from fourth to second, Martensdale St. Mary’s moves from fifth to third, East Buchanan drops from second to fourth and Lansing Kee is in fifth place, down two spots from last week. It was a rare week of stability atop the class 4A poll — with the top five teams all holding their spots. Council Bluffs Lewis Central is one, followed by Marshalltown, Dubuque Wahlert, West Des Moines Valley and Des Moines Lincoln to round out the top five.
