Two elderly people from eastern Iowa were killed when their car collided with a semi-truck near Maquoketa.Troopers say two Dubuque residents died on Highway 61 on Sunday near Maquoketa when they pulled out in front of the semi. They’re identified as 76-year-old Dale Laugesen and 74-year-old Rosemary Schlecht. The truck driver had minor injuries.
