One person died in a crash this afternoon near Hampton. The authorities were notified that someone was driving erratically south of Hampton on Highway 65. Moments later, another report came in: the driver of the late model Ford van had crashed. The van had Cerro Gordo County license plates, but the identity of the driver has not yet been released.
