Tickets for the Iowa-Iowa State football game went on sale Tuesday and Hawkeye ticket manager David Sandstrum says they disappeared faster than Tim Dwight on a kickoff return.Sandstrum says there aren’t any more single general admission tickets available right now and the sales have been shut down.He says there’s a possibility you still may be able to get your hands on a ticket when they suspend season ticket sales and when they end season ticket sales to students. Fans were able to buy the tickets on-line for the first time this year, and he says about 50 percent of the people who bought tickets took advantage. Both the Hawkeyes and the Cyclones are coming off bowl games, but Sandstrum says their records don’t matter.Over 70-thousand fans will pack Kinnick Stadium for the ballgame September 14th.
