The body of a motorcyclist who died in an accident near Montezuma early Sunday morning wasn’t found ’til late yesterday. Fifty-one-year-old David Mathis of rural Montezuma died on a county road about one-and-a-half miles east of Montezuma. The cycle rolled once and landed on top of Mathis’ body, which was concealed by ditch weeds. Mathis’ family called police yesterday to say they hadn’t heard from him since Saturday. After searching the area by car, authorities called in the civil air patrol which spotted the body shortly after six o’clock last night.
