Minnesota farmer hunts for his cattle in Iowa

A southern Minnesota farmer is hunting cattle in northern Iowa after his entire herd escaped a few weeks ago. Mark Lenort farms near East Chain, Minnesota, and says he returned from a fireworks show on July 4th to find all 310 cattle missing. He says someone went near the lot and lit a bunch of fireworks, spooking the cattle.All but 13 of the cattle have been rounded up and Lenort has enlisted help from all sorts of people to find them.Anyone who spots a stray cow in that area should call the Kossuth County Sheriff’s office.
