Archbishop Jerome Hanus of the Dubuque Catholic Diocese announced the members of his Archdiocesan Review Board for Sexual Abuse of Minors. Bishop Hanus says the four goals of the board are to promote healing and reconciliation to those who’ve been abused, to guarantee an affective response to allegations of abuse, to ensure the accountability of Archdiocesan procedures, and too protect the faithful in the future.He says they will also review the Diocesan policies and procedures for dealing with sexual abuse of minors, to help in assessing allegations of abuse, to make recommendations concerning fitness for ministry.He says he will continue to reach out to those who’ve been impacted by abuse.
