Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says junior running back Aaron Greving may see action in Saturday’s game at Miami of Ohio. Greving missed the Hawkeyes’ season opening victory against Akron with an injured ankle. Greving has been cleared to practice, but Ferentz says this early in the season they don’t want to be stupid about what they do. The Hawkeyes scored 51 first half points in a 57-21 win over Akron and Ferentz said he was happy with the effort.Ferentz says many coaches believe the most improvement for a team happens between the first and second games. He says that’s very true and they’ll have to improve a lot to play a tough Miami of Ohio team on the road.Miami won at North Carolina on Saturday.Ferentz says Miami dominated the game with North Carolina. He says it’s impressive the way Miami controlled the ball for 38 minutes. Ferentz says Miami is one of the Mid-American Conference schools that have beaten some big-name programs.
