An eastern Iowa man faces new charges after the slaying of an in-law. Prosecutors in Henry County, Illinois, say they have added charges and may seek the death penalty for a Davenport man accused of killing his brother-in-law. 54-year-old Jim Richardson was charged last month with two counts of first-degree murder, plus burglary and theft. That followed the August third death of 57-year-old Harold Collins. A states attorney now says three additional counts of first-degree murder have filed. A relative of the dead man has told investigators the victim was angry that his wife was giving money to Richardson, her brother.
