Two people were killed in unrelated accidents in northeastern Iowa Tuesday. The first accident happened in Bremer County east of Plainfield.57-year-old Frank Johnson of Waverly died after his pickup was struck by another vehicle and rolled over into the ditch throwing him out. A passenger, 53-year-old Linda Johnson, was treated for injuries. The other accident happened at what’s known as the six-corner intersection in Waterloo. 85-year-old Frances Nesbit was killed when the car driven by her husband Robert collided with two other cars at the intersection. 85-year-old Robert Nesbit is hospitalized in stable condition. The other two drivers were not hurt.
