A weekend crash in north-central Iowa claimed a life. 47-year-old David Hilpipre of Webster City was killed in the wreck early Sunday near Webster City. Troopers say he was a passenger in a car driven by 40-year-old Brenda Hilpipre, also of Webster City. The car went out of control and hit a ditch, rolled and ejected both occupants. The woman is in a Des Moines hospital in fair condition. She is the former sister-in-law of the victim.
