Conservative group gives Vilsack a "D"

Iowa’s Governor has improved his grade on a new report card out today, but he hasn’t improved by much. The Cato Institute gave Tom Vilsack a failing grade two years ago, and today, the democrat gets a “D” on the Fiscal Policy Report Card. It’s compiled based on 17 economic factors dealing with taxes and income. The report says Vilsack -quote- “does not bother to hide his infatuation with big budgets (and) high taxes.” Vilsack reportedly says he views criticism from the conservative Cato Institute as a badge of honor. This year only the governors of Colorado and Florida got A’s and four flunked — California, Tennessee, Ohio and Oregon.
