A 13-year-old from the northeastern Iowa town of Dyersville has died from bacterial meningitis. Kyle Boge was a student at Western Dubuque Drexler Middle School in Farley died Wednesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. School officials sent letters home with students on Thursday. Cases are considered rare. Family members have been placed on antibiotics.
