The Iowa State Cyclones have been a good second-half team during their games this season and they hope the same thing applies to the schedule. The 11th-ranked Cyclones are 5-1 and, following a bye week, host Texas Tech on Saturday.Wide receiver Lane Danielson, who says the Cyclones broke down the season into two halves, with a bye week inbetween the two halves. He says they went all out to win the first six games and beat Nebraska, then they used the break to get ready for the second set of games.Saturday’s game will match two of the country’s top quarterbacks in Seneca Wallace and Kliff Kingsbury. Danielson says while the game has the makings of a shootout, the Cyclone offense doesn’t feel like it has to score on every possession. He says they don’t want to go out and press, they just want to score some points and trust in the defense.
