Northwestern is on the road in the Great Plains Conference to take on Hastings of Nebraska. The Red Raiders are coming off a loss to Doane but coach Orv Otten says one loss won’t cost the a chance at the title. He says the conference is so balanced, that one loss doesn’t knock you out of the hunt.Otten says while one loss won’t cost the a losing streak will, and they have to get back to work. Otten says Hastings has a lot of speed on defense and the Red Raider offense will need lengthy drives to score.He says they don’t have an explosive running game, but can get it to the wideouts.
