Texas coach says Wallace’s Heisman hopes not gone with loss

Texas coach Mack Brown says one bad game won’t end Heisman trophy consideration for Iowa State quarterback Seneca Wallace. Brown coached Ricky Williams at Texas when he won the Heisman and his seventh ranked Longhorns host the 17th rated Cyclones on Saturday. Brown says Wallace throws the ball as well as anyone. He says Williams was thrown out of the race a couple of times before finally winning. Brown says the Longhorns know they will be in a battle despite the Cyclones’ lopsided loss at Oklahoma. He says they ran into a buzzsaw at Oklahoma, but he expects ISU to bounce back and be ready.
