President Bush is doing some last minute campaigning in Cedar Rapids today. Bush called voting “an obligation of citizenship” particularly in the wake of September 11th and the war on terrorism. Bush told the five-thousand republicans that he needs a republican House and Senate to be able to make last year’s tax cut permanent, and to take other steps to bolster the economy. Bush urged the crowd to contact their family, friends and neighbors – democrats, republicans and independents – to get them to the polls tomorrow.
