The ninth ranked Iowa Hawkeyes close out their home season Saturday against Northwestern. Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says the Wilcats have shown they can put up a lot of points.Ferentz felt the Hawkeyes would be an improved team this season he just did not know how much they would improve. Ferentz says he would like to see the seniors win their final game in Kinnick Stadium.Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says the Cyclones are healthy and fresh as they had down the home stretch of the seasaon. The Cyclones visit 12th rated Kansas State on Saturday and with victories in their next two games would win the Big-12 North Division title. McCarney says the Cyclones have accomplished a great deal but have a chance to take it even further in the final weeks.McCarney says breakdowns on the punt team need to stop, he says it’s not right to have one segment of the football team let the whole team down.
