The Iowa Lottery is ending the sale of several scratch ticket lottery games. Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer. She says they take games out of circulation a few times a year for a variety of reasons, such as all the top prizes have been claimed, or it’s time to introduce a new game. Neubauer. says they’re pulling six games. The games are Battleship, Double Doubler (purple), Crossword, Ice Fishin, Powerball – The Game Show (magenta maze), and New Year’s Bonus games. You have until the close of business on February 3rd to claim prizes in those games. Neubauer. says if you don’t claim your prize by the deadline, you lose it. She says this is part of the normal lottery rotation of the scratch games. She says they have anywhere from 20 to 25 scratch games on the street at any one time, as players like a lot of variety.
