The quarterfinal round of the high school football playoffs continue tonight with action in 2A and 3A. In 2A, top ranked Central Lyon/George-Little Rock visits third-rated Emmetsburg. With a victory, the E-Hawks would earn another trip to the UNI-DOME. Emmetsburg coach Duane Twaitsays that’s always their goal every year and he says this year with a lot of juniors, it took awhile to get things going. He says Central Lyon causes a number of concerns as they play an aggressive 4-3 defense with strong linebackers.
