A Dubuque County man is ordered to pay more than 24-thousand dollars in fines for a variety of livestock violations in Wisconsin. Wisconsin ag department officials say Carl Simon of Farley pleaded no contest to 13 violations, including the transporting of cattle into Wisconsin from Iowa without proper health certificates on the animals, and for selling horses without proof of required disease testing. In addition to the fine, Simon was put on probation for three years.
