Prosecutors expect another child to testify today in the murder trial of Donald Boss of Remsen, who’s charged in the death of his adopted son, Timothy. Claxton Boss, the 15-year-old adopted son, testified yesterday. Claxton said Timothy was punished after punching holes in a wall. Claxton said his father tied Timothy’s arms and legs to a folding chair and tied his neck to a shelf post with zip ties. Claxton testified his father, Donald Boss, used a wooden paddle to hit Timothy. Defense attorney Mike Williams asked Claxton if he told authorities in January that he didn’t know anything about a wooden paddle. Claxton said, “Maybe I did lie, so what?” Claxton told prosecutor Darin Raymond he’d been told not to tell the truth. Claxton says his mother told him not to tell the truth as they ran away to Montana. Prosecutors plan to call witnesses for another two or three days.
