Fire struck a three-story apartment complex in Ottumwa about two o’clock this morning. Flames were shooting from the roof when firefighters arrived. Six people were evacuated from the six-apartment complex. One firefighter was hurt when he fell on the ice. No one from the apartments was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
