The prosecution wrapped up its case today in the Donald Boss murder trial in Plymouth County. Boss is accused of beating his then 10-year-old stepson Timothy to death about three years ago. In his closing arguments, prosecutor Chuck Thoman told the jury that witnesses, including 15-year-old Claxton Boss, showed how Boss beat his son to death.He reminded the jury of Claxton’s testimony that Timothy had been beaten by his dad before and after being tied up. alternate cut.Thoman told the jury there are six elements needed to convict Boss and he says they’ve proved the six elements so the jury should find Boss guilty of murder in the first-degree. The judge told the jury they could find Boss guilty on the first-degree murder charge, or on one of five lesser charges. The prosecution wrapped up its case just at two-fifteen today and the jury is now deliberating.
