A prosecutor says no decision has been made about filing charges against the mother of a child whose body was found buried in the basement of his Remsen home, now the father has been found guilty of first-degree murder. After the jury verdict yesterday, Plymouth County attorney Darren Raymond said prosecutors and investigators may meet next week to discuss what happens to Lisa Boss. During the trial of her husband Donald, witnesses testified Lisa also beat Timothy Boss and did not call 9-1-1 or law enforcement when the child was not breathing. Raymond says no decision has been made about charging Lisa. He says based on the evidence heard in the Donald Boss trial, there’s “some inevitability” to it, but he wants to meet with investigators to talk about what kind of charges may be appropriate. The county attorney says Lisa Boss’ status as a material witness remains the same unless there’s an order from the judge. Raymond also says he’s satisfied with with the verdict of first-degree murder for Donald Boss.
