The Northern Iowa volleyball team takes on Washington State tomorrow in the sweet-16 of the N-C-A-A tournament in Gainesville, Florida. It is the second straight year the Panthers have advanced to the round of 16 and coach Bobbi Peterson says that experience should help. She says the team wasn’t satisfied after losing the match against Long Beach last year.
Peterson says the Cougars will be a tough opponent, but they’ll go out with a lot of confidence. She says Washington State is in the best conference in the country.
The winner will play the winner of the match between Florida and Temple on Saturday for the right to advance to the Final Four.
