Members of the Central City High School dance team will perform at theCapital One Bowl in Orlando, Florida, on New Years day when Penn Stateplays Auburn. Six members of the “Sassmeisters” dance team will leavetomorrow from the airport in Cedar Rapids to take part in Wednesday’s noongame before they come home next Thursday. The group financed the trip toFlorida by doing chores like washing windows, raking leaves and collectingpop cans and bottles. Earlier this month, the dance group got a video of athree-minute routine which they’ll perform along with hundreds of otherselected dancers from throughout the nation. On Monday and Tuesday inOrlando, the dancers will rehearse the dance, which is based on a Caribbeanparadise theme.
