Two Sheldon men charged in the shooting death of a Sheldon teenager will go to trial on March 25th.24-year-old Lathan Barnett and 22-year-old Shane Meyer have pleaded “not guilty.” They were charged after Shelly Gunnerman was shot in the face and died last October. Barnett was charged with involuntary manslaughter and unauthorized possession of a weapon. Meyer was charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, and being felon in possession of a weapon.
