The dogs that attacked and seriously injured a Davenport woman this week won’t ever hurt anyone else. The pit bulls were euthanized at the Scott County Humane Society on Thursday. The day before, the dogs Deuce and Diamond got away from their owner as she went to warm up her car and viciously tore into a passer-by. 45-year-old Pam Arndt is in serious condition in intensive care at a Davenport hospital. She’s undergone facial surgery, including an attempt to reattach her nose. Another woman who saw the attack was also injured by the dogs. The owner of the animals, 31-year-old Kristina Ramsey, faces six citations and 11-hundred dollars in fines. Both dogs’ bodies will be tested for rabies.
