You’ve heard of talking trash? Now, talking trash can/compactors are cheerfully thanking students at Clinton High School for putting garbage into them. The machines act both as trash receptacles that chirp a “thank you” and then they squish the refuse into manageable cubes. Here’s a series of three messages:Principal William Cornelius says the new trash can/compactors are getting positive reviews. He says it makes it easier for the custodians to haul out.Cornelius says the novel devices are helping keep the Clinton High lunch room cleaner. He says the students tend to use them more than regular trash cans and there was less trash left on the tables and floors. The trash can/compactors cost 45-hundred dollars each. Clinton High now has four of them.
