Texas Tech pulled away from a halftime tie to down Iowa State 88-73 in Hilton Colesium. Jake Sullivan had a career-high 29-points but on the postgame show on the Cyclone Network said there was not enough defense to get the job done. He says they have to start buying in to what their coach is telling them to do. Iowa State played a zone defense and Sullivan said Tech took advantage and hit their shots after not being a very good three point shooting team coming in. Cyclone coach Larry Eustachy says Tech exposed the Cyclones’ weaknesses, as they aren’t physical enough, not committed enough or tough enough. Eustachy says they will get all of that before he’s done and they will have an attitude of refusing to lose.
