The Iowa women are at home tonight take on Minnesota in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes’ roller coaster season continued last week with a lopsided loss at Indiana followed by an upset win at home over league-leading Penn State. Iowa coach Lisa Bluder says they knew the young team would give them some ups and downs, but she says they didn’t expect them to be this extreme. Like the game against Penn State, the Hawks will attempt to avenge a blow out loss on the road in the first meeting. Bluder says the Hawks are better prepared mentally for this game, knowing they’ve rebounded to win against teams that they lost badly to in their first meeting.
