Hawk Reiner named Big Ten Player of the Week

Iowa center Jared Reiner has been named the Big Ten player of the week. Then junior averaged 20.5 points and 13.5 rebounds as the Hawkeyes won at Ohio State and lost a 91-88 decision at Indiana.Iowa coach Steve Alford says Reiner and the team played very well and could easily have had two wins. The Hawks visit Michigan State tomorrow night and Alford expects Jeff Horner and Chauncey Leslie to play despite injuries that nearly kept them out of the Indiana game.
