Iowa begins its final week of the Big Ten regular season with a game tonight at Michigan State. Hawkeye coach Steve Alford calls it another tough road venue.The Hawks will be looking for their fourth conference road win, an improvement over last year after they didn’t win a road game all season.Michigan State coach Tom Izzo says the mid-season injury to Jared Reiner may have kept the Hawks from being a serious contender. The Spartans are 8-6 in the Big Ten after a slow start.Michigan State is 17-10 overall. Iowa is 6-10 in the conference and 14-13 overall.Iowa State hosts Missouri tonight in Big Twelve action. Tiger guard Ricky Paulding is a concern for the Cyclones. Coach Larry Eustachy says Paulding has the ability to take a game over.Eustachy says Missouri is one of a number of Big-12 teams with outstanding guard courts and that is why the league is so strong.I-S-U is 4-10 in the Big-12 and 14-11 overall. Misouri is 9-5 in the conference and 18-7 overall.
