The Iowa Hawkeye women have advanced to the quarterfinal round of the W-N-I-T after Sunday’s 76-73 win over Marquette in Iowa City. The Hawks overcame an early 10-point deficit to improve to 18-13 on the season. Iowa assistant coach Jan Jensen says that’s hurt them during the regular season, starting slow and then having to pull themselves out of a hole. The Hawks will host Creighton tomorrow night in the quarterfinal round and the Hawks will be looking to avenge a regular season loss in Omaha.
