The Upper Iowa softball team is not just breaking record it’s smashing them. Second-year coach Brent Kukel”s team has already set a school record for victories two days before Iowa Conference action even begins. The past record was 12 wins and they broke it by getting their 13th and have since won two more games. Kukel admits he is a little surprised at how quickly things have turned around. He says as an alum, it makes him proud to see the turnaround.Upper Iowa opens the league race Saturday against Cornell.
